Tip#2 - Connect Portalis to your HubSpot portal

Tip #2 - How to connect your HubSpot & Portalis accounts. 

Located in the Admin Portal, the HubSpot page in the Settings section is the place to go to connect your Portalis and HubSpot accounts.

1. What is the HubSpot integration?

Portalis is the leading sales enablement customer portal for HubSpot. We provide a powerful two-way integration between you HubSpot portal and your Portalis customer portal(s) to drive better customer experience, closer collaboration and ultimately increased sales. 

Portalis is a seperate application to HubSpot, available both directly via portalis.io , and via the HubSpot Application Marketplace (December 2021). 

Our vision is to be the home for the customer, throughout their lifecycle - from pre-sale to active, delight customer and beyond. HubSpot is the first, and most natural integration to start with. Though we will be releasing further integrations with other CRM, ERP and financial systems in the future:

Portals - HubSpot integration - example use cases:

  • Self-serve, secure portal area
  • Customers can invite colleagues to access the portal
  • Engage with pre-loaded documents, videos and proposals
  • Book a meeting, request a call back or book a meeting with sales rep
  • Raise a support ticket, or view previously raised tickets
  • Complete a customer checklist (HubSpot Form)
  • Access links to Trello, your help and knowledge base and other 3rd party support or learning tools
  • Engage with HubSpot Live chat / chatbot (if activated for your portal)

2. How to find the HubSpot Integration in Portalis?

  1. Log into your Portalis Admin Portal - https://[YOURCOMPANYNAME].portalis.io/admin/login
  2. Navigate to the Settings section and click on 'HubSpot'
  3. You will see on screen which says "App connection".  We will explain how to connect HubSpot in the next section (3, below):

3. Step-by-step guide to connecting your HubSpot and Portalis accounts. 

    1. Click 'Connect' on the 'App connection box'

    2. Click on the circle with your HubSpot account name and the click 'Choose Account'

 
  1. A pop-up like this will appear, simple click 'Connect app'

  2. That's it! Your HubSpot & Portalis account's are connected!
    You will see an orange tick in your App connection box in the Portalis Admin site, with the option to Re-connect, if you want to choose a different HubSpot account to integrate with.


What to do next?

  1. Log into your Portalis Admin Portal - https://[YOURCOMPANYNAME].portalis.io/admin/login
  2. Navigate to the HubSpot page, under 'Settings' and get started!
